You can use any electronic device at CERN (and as many as you need), provided you have registered them and accepted the CERN computer rules.

If you are a registered user of Eduroam at your home institution, you are welcome to use the network with your institution's credentials. CERN requires all users of the computing and network facilities to accept the OC5 rules. Click here to learn more.

Otherwise select the CERN-visitor network. 

When you register your device you will be asked to provide your email and phone number where you will receive the authorization code via SMS.. If your phone cannot receive SMS please contact Elena (Bld 4-2-014 tel +41 22 767 4751) that can give it to you.

We do not provide ethernet connection (via cable).

(**) sometimes the registration page does not appear automatically. This can be due to the settings of your computer. Check if you are running a program that blocks connections with a free network or the pop-up of windows.
