My research focuses on collider phenomenology, with a particular emphasis on General Purpose Monte Carlo (GPMC) generators, which provide all the relevant QCD ingredients necessary to describe a complex collider event.
I am also interested in understanding non-perturbative corrections using QCD first principles, in order to formulate hadronisations model that can dress the most precise analytic calculations, as they are not embedded in GPMC yet.
I am currently working on augmenting the logarithmic accuracy of parton showers, which are are the core of GPMC, within the PanScales collaboration. I am also a member of the Herwig collaboration, which is one of the three mainly used GPMC's, and an author of the POWHEG BOX, a framework to combine NLO calculations with parton showers.
