I am interested in mathematical aspects of string theory and quantum field theory. My current research focuses mostly on exploring new directions in the field of geometric representation theory. Analysis of different configurations within string theory leads to surprising predictions in the theory of Yangians, vertex operator algebras and integrable systems and their relation to geometry. In the past, I worked on integrability of defect conformal field theories and analysis of classical solutions in string field theory. Recently, I also became interested in topological invariants of three-manifolds and knots inside them.
