CERN-TH welcomes the recommendation of the Particles & Fields APS Executive Committee to have a common Theory Postdoc Acceptance Deadline on Jan 31, starting from 2026. Having a common deadline across the various research areas is essential to ensure a fair recruitment process and to reaffirm the unity of the particle theory community.

Since the coming postdoc selection process occurs in a transition year, CERN-TH will adhere to the current practices of the community and exceptionally use two deadlines: Jan 15 for hep-th related subjects and Feb 15 for all other subjects.
